The Vortex Fountain
Our first fountain was a blending of an idea and a gift. Through the kindness of TerraCast Products who donated large resin planters to the Friends, our fountain idea solidified into a new visitor attraction at the park. The base is the Brooklyn style created by TerraCast.
Our new fountain is a cylindar with vortex action. Like the first fountain, it is lit when the sun goes down for that extra dash of drama. We are currently working to complete the installation. More upgrades are coming!
The Friends of the Deerfield Beach Arboretum are very proud of our vortex fountain project. It is the most recent water feature inside Constitution Park. Now a permanent feature in our rare plant garden, it’s located at the rear of the park between the Florida Garden and the Zen Garden.
