The Friends of the Deerfield Beach Arboretum is a dedicated volunteer group of master gardeners and garden enthusiasts dedicated to the upkeep and promotion and care for the Landis Nursery and the Tree Zoo, located in Constitution Park.

This volunteer organization was founded in 1999 by Zeke Landis. Continuing the work of the late Zeke Landis, the Friends are committed to maintaining the outstanding array of trees and palms living in the park, with the goal to create a local green space to highlight the trees of the world. New projects to enhance the park’s enjoyability.

We are committed to garden creation, with new projects to enhance the park’s enjoyability, and with native planting and species from around the world. Our commitment also includes visitor education.
